Thank you for using Bakio ("the App"). Bakio is a private, local-first baking journal designed to help home bakers organize recipes, track baking sessions, record finished results, and create personal baking archives.

This Privacy Policy explains how Bakio handles information when you use the App. We designed Bakio with privacy as a core principle. The App does not require an account, does not require sign-in, and does not upload your baking records to external servers.

Bakio is a local-first application. Your recipes, baking sessions, result records, photos, ratings, notes, and other personal baking information are stored locally on your device.

The core functionality of Bakio can be used without providing personal information.

Bakio only accesses photos that you explicitly select or capture through the App. Photos are stored locally and are not uploaded automatically.

4. Microphone Permission

Bakio may request microphone access only when you choose to record an optional voice note for a baking session timeline event.

Voice recordings are created only through your direct action and are stored locally on your device. Bakio does not automatically record audio or access your microphone in the background.

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

Bakio may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

If you allow tracking permission, Bakio may use this permission to measure the performance of promotional activities related to in-app purchase offers.

If you deny tracking permission:

6. Notifications

Bakio may request notification permission to support optional reminders or future user-requested features.

Notifications are not required for core functionality. Bakio does not use notifications for unrelated marketing campaigns.

7. In-App Purchases

Bakio offers optional consumable Points purchases through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Points are digital credits used to unlock additional image export capabilities beyond the included free export allowances.

Bakio does not receive or store your payment card information. Apple processes all transactions according to Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
